Our History

    The Delves Group was started in August, 2001 by Donald Delves and one associate consultant. Since then, the firm has grown to seven full time professional staff and several senior level contract consultants. We have specialized in executive compensation, corporate governance, and sales force compensation since our inception as a firm.

    Our core business is advising board compensation committees on executive compensation. Executive compensation consulting is 80% of our business. Additionally, in about 3/4 of those assignments, we report primarily or solely to the compensation committee. The Delves Group has been retained directly by compensation committees for over five years and has pioneered and helped to define the nature of the ideal relationship between committee and consultant.

    Don Delves has been providing executive compensation consulting to clients for 20 years. Doug Tormey and Claudia Wyatt-Johnson have similar or slightly greater years of compensation consulting experience.
